On Turning Sixty-Two

On Turning Sixty-Two

When I was twenty-five,
I felt really alive.
Twenty-five years later,
No need for a pacemaker.
Wordle: Season

Now I am sixty-two,
Wondering where time flew.
Seasons come and go,
What you reap, you sow.

Every day is a gift,
God gives us a lift,
Whenever we freely serve,
We’re graced without reserve.

So grow old gracefully,
Like a noble oak tree,
For this day could be your last,
Tomorrow your time may pass.
